Employment & Training Department

The Employment & Training Department helps members of Welamukotuk First Nation access career opportunities, skills development, and training programs. Our goal is to support lifelong learning, strengthen employability, and empower community members to succeed in the workforce.


What We Do

  • Job Search Assistance – Connecting members with local and regional employment opportunities
  • Skills Training & Workshops – Providing programs to develop new skills and enhance employability
  • Career Guidance & Counseling – Offering one-on-one support to help members plan their career paths
  • Partnerships – Working with employers, training institutions, and government programs to expand opportunities
