Chief and Council are the elected leaders of Welamukotuk First Nation. Together, they provide guidance, make decisions in the best interest of our members, and work to protect our rights, culture, and future. Their role is to listen to the community, set priorities, and ensure that programs and services reflect the needs of our people.
The Social Department provides support to Welamukotuk First Nation members and families through income assistance, referrals, and community programs. Our team is here to help meet basic needs and connect members with the resources they need to thrive.
The Financial Department is responsible for managing all payroll and financial information for Welamukotuk First Nation.
The Human Resources Department supports Welamukotuk First Nation by managing staffing, employee relations, recruitment, and workplace development. We are committed to creating a positive, respectful, and supportive work environment for all staff and departments.
