WELAMUKOTUK EARLY LEARNING CENTER

The Early Learning Center at Welamukotuk First Nation provides a safe, nurturing, and culturally rich environment for young children ages 2-4. Our programs focus on early childhood development, preparing children for school while fostering a love for learning and a strong connection to Wolastoqey culture and traditions.

What We Do

  • Early Childhood Education – Age-appropriate learning activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development
  • Cultural Programming – Incorporating Wolastoqey language, stories, and traditions into daily activities
  • Nutrition & Wellness – Healthy meals and guidance on developing positive habits
  • Family Engagement – Supporting parents and caregivers with resources, workshops, and involvement opportunities
  • School Readiness – Preparing children for a smooth transition to kindergarten and beyond

Our Commitment

We are dedicated to fostering a safe, supportive, and culturally grounded environment where children can grow, explore, and thrive. By nurturing young minds, the Early Learning Center helps build a strong foundation for lifelong learning and community connection.
